All she knows crashes around her,
each time realization sets in that he'll never love her.
His laugh,
his voice,
have become her lullaby when tears cease to fall.
She hopelessly hopes,
that she could grasp more than the space between them.
Each time he's near her,
her heart flutters,
but it falls and shatters each time she notices the distance in those captivating eyes.
The confusion in her head torments her,
suffocates her so she can no longer breathe.
She wishes she could hold him,
call him hers,
but she knows that will never happen.
She loves him,
but she doesn't deserve him.
This longing,
this love,
will be her sweet suicide.
